The Alan Parsons (project) was one of my favorite bands of the 80s. They had some nice hits in the 70s and 80s, (Eye In The Sky, Don't Answer Me etc.) and ...the music score in Ladyhawke was horrid.

My favorite soundtrack to this day is Wang Chung's To Live and Die in LA.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03173416125918691702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8809058667265955025.post-86701781096627678252014-03-24T14:16:11.506-07:002014-03-24T14:16:11.506-07:00Great show!
*Prequels. That's the 'in'...Great show!

*Prequels. That's the 'in' thing right now. Last year I loved Oz The Great & Powerful. This year I';m looking forward to Maleficent. If it is a hit, it wouldn't surprise me if the floodgates were opened.

* Drive. Loved it but hated Only God Forgives. (Same actor and director) As far as profanity goes, I think it should be minimal at best, avoided where possible. I also believe it could limit a marketplace value., Plus, I woul think that if you read, say, 30 scripts with endless F bombs in them it would get a bit tiresome. Maybe it's just me though. Majority of profanity in films are ad-libbed anyway.

*We see/hear. If I show, you see anyway. If something or someone makes a sound, I'm sure you'll hear it.

* Noah. Y'know. 40 days and 40 Nights IS a long time to go without speaking. It's an interesting point. (I'm not the biggest Aronofsky fan, however - the director gets too New Age-y for me most of the time)

*The "opposite" thing. You mean like what Sony is planning with the Spider-Man films? ("Sinister Six" spinoff?) because when I think "opposite" of Avengers (I'm assuming you mean the heroes and not John Steed/Emma Peel) I think villains. Would I be interested in taking a stab at it or something like that, you ask? I'm curious.

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03173416125918691702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8809058667265955025.post-27843796144888951642014-01-07T02:53:03.931-08:002014-01-07T02:53:03.931-08:00Barbara, after only a five minute listen to your p...Barbara, after only a five minute listen to your podcast I can see how good you are. Really brill and I'm so glad I found you but why, why such poor audio quality? Some weird compression or something. I tried both products from SimplyScripts and BabzBuzz. Has no one mentioned it before? I'll address this issue from the technical side in the next Buzz edition - in the meantime there's several solutions to this problem.

1. Listen to it on something other than your iPhone.

2. Create an AAC version of the podcast on your phone - you can do this by https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4656414?tstart=0

3. Use an app called Zodplay and try using this ogg file. http://ia801901.us.archive.org/5/items/BabzBuzz029/BabzBuzz029.oggEclecticBloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07453241946510896008noreply@blogger.com
